La oferta de locales de ocio nocturno es infinita en la gran manzana, ya saben que tiene fama de ser la ciudad que nunca duerme ¡y yo les aseguro que es verdad!
El viernes decidimos ir a tomar unas copas y disfrutar de la noche en el distrito de Meatpacking, hay muchísimos restaurantes, pubs, clubes, gente de todo tipo, muy buen ambiente… en definitiva ¡aquí la diversión está asegurada!
Nosotras fuimos a varios locales, y sinceramente no recuerdo el nombre (muy mal por mi parte…) pero aquí les dejo el link del blog de una amiga, [SOBRE] viviendo en NY, que ha escrito un muy buen post contando todos los secretos de Meatpacking J
El sábado fuimos a dar una vuelta por el Soho, pero antes comenzamos la noche yendo a tomar unas cervezas a un local 100% recomendable. Se llama Down the Hatch y se encuentra entre el West Village y el Soho. Podría ser perfectamente el MacLaren’s de Cómo conocí a vuestra madre, super americano, perfecto para ir a tomar unas cervezas antes de empezar la noche, con muy buenos precios en la happy hour (1$ la caña) y donde además te puedes pedir las famosas alitas de pollo, que yo no las probé… ¡pero tenían muy buena pinta! Y por si fuera poco además tienen una mesa para jugar al beerpong. ¡Me pareció super auténtico!
Creo que las fotos no mienten, y es qué las noches que pasamos en New York City fueron ¡SUBLIMES!
Short trip to New York City (2): Nightlife
The range of nightlife is infinite in the Big Apple. Everybody knows this city has a reputationon: the city that never sleeps, and I assure you it's true!
On Friday we decided to go for a drink and enjoy the night in Meatpacking District, there are many places to go, different people, great atmosphere ... definitely, where fun is guaranteed!
We went to two bars, and honestly I don’t remember the names (so bad for me...) but here is a link of a friend’s blog, [SOBRE]viviendo en NY, who has written a very good post telling all the Meatpackink secrets.
On Saturday we went hang out around Soho, but before, the night started going for a few beers at a local 100% recommended. It's called Downthe Hatch and is among the West Village and Soho. It could well be the MacLaren's of How I Met Your Mother, super American, perfect to go for a few beers before starting the night, with very good prices on the happy hour (1 $ per beer) and where in addition, you can order the famous chicken wings, that I didn’t try ... but smelled very good! And to top it off they also have a table for playing beer pong. Super authentic!
I think the photos don’t lie… the nights we spent in New York City were AWESOME!
